A Roblox creator can charge what they like for a game pass. Roblox's own documentation puts the range at 1 Robux to 1 billion and leaves everything in between to the developer. So where does the market land?
Across 1,516 passes on sale in 179 games, read between 19 July and 16 August 2026, the middle price is 249 Robux. At the package prices on Roblox's own Robux page on 16 August 2026 — $4.99 for 400 Robux at the small end, $199.99 for 22,500 at the large one — that is somewhere between $2.21 and $3.11, depending on which package the buyer's Robux came out of.
Half of everything on sale sits between 99 and 449 Robux.
Where the prices fall
| Percentile | Price (Robux) |
|---|---|
| 10th | 49 |
| 25th | 99 |
| 50th (median) | 249 |
| 75th | 449 |
| 90th | 799 |
| 95th | 999 |
Grouped into bands, the shape is a wide middle with thin tails at both ends.
| Price band | Passes | Share |
|---|---|---|
| Under 100 Robux | 430 | 28% |
| 100–499 Robux | 792 | 52% |
| 500–999 Robux | 220 | 15% |
| 1,000 Robux or more | 74 | 5% |
A pass at 1,000 Robux or more is a rarity: 74 of 1,516, one in twenty.
Almost two-thirds of prices end in a 9
Robux has no decimal point. There is no 99-cent equivalent — pricing something at 99 instead of 100 saves the buyer a single Robux, worth about a cent. Charm pricing survives the crossing anyway.
- 960 of the 1,516 prices (63%) end in a 9.
- 574 (38%) end in 99.
- Only 168 (11%) are a round multiple of 100.
The most common price on the list is 299 Robux, on 101 passes — 6.7% of everything on sale. Then 399 (87 passes), 99 (85), 199 (80) and 499 (59). The first round number to appear is 300, on 47 passes: less than half as common as the 299 sitting one Robux below it.
Nothing in the currency rewards that habit. A developer setting 299 rather than 300 is borrowing a supermarket convention built for a currency with cents, in a currency that has none.
The expensive end
PLS DONATE sells a Gigantic Donation Sign for 100,000 Robux — between $889 and $1,248 at the two package rates above. It is the highest price in the sample below the seven-figure entries described further down, and it was still listed at that figure when the pass was read again from Roblox on 16 August 2026.
Below it, the top of the range is populated by permanent conveniences rather than cosmetics:
| Game | Pass | Price (Robux) | Read |
|---|---|---|---|
| PLS DONATE | Gigantic Donation Sign | 100,000 | 21 Jul 2026 |
| Steal a Brainrot | Admin Commands | 7,999 | 19 Jul 2026 |
| Build A Keyboard! | x100 Money Boost | 6,767 | 22 Jul 2026 |
| A Universal Time | Smart Assistant | 5,999 | 12 Aug 2026 |
| Blox Fruits | Fruit Notifier | 2,700 | 23 Jul 2026 |
Above 100,000 Robux the figures stop being offers in any ordinary sense. Tower Creator lists one pass at 100,000,000 Robux and another at 99,999,999, alongside one called "the gamepass that does nothing" at 250. Those sit inside Roblox's documented ceiling of a billion and outside anything a player could reach. They stay in the percentile and band tables, where a median cannot be moved by them, and are kept out of the catalogue totals below, where a sum could be.
Some games sell one thing, some sell thirty-eight
Sixty of the 179 games carry ten or more passes on sale. Fifteen carry exactly one.
Adding up a game's whole catalogue gives the cost of owning everything it sells, which is a different question from what one pass costs. The totals below leave out any pass priced at 100,000 Robux or more.
| Game | Passes on sale | Median price | Whole catalogue | Read |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| The Vampire Legends 2 | 19 | 1,200 | 23,200 | 3 Aug 2026 |
| A Dusty Trip | 36 | 499 | 17,517 | 11 Aug 2026 |
| NFL Universe Football | 19 | 799 | 16,201 | 11 Aug 2026 |
| Build A Keyboard! | 17 | 129 | 14,443 | 22 Jul 2026 |
| War Tycoon | 20 | 299 | 13,420 | 14 Aug 2026 |
| Conquer The World WW2 | 38 | 99 | 10,043 | 14 Aug 2026 |
The Vampire Legends 2 has the most expensive catalogue in the sample — 23,200 Robux, between $206 and $289 — and it gets there with 19 passes at a median of 1,200 each, twelve of them at 1,000 or more. Its passes are playable characters.
Conquer The World WW2 sells the most items of any game here, 38, and comes to less than half the total, because its median pass is 99 Robux. Two roughly opposite ways to reach the same place.
The cheap end is cheaper still. Guts & Blackpowder has 34 passes at a median of 50 Robux; My Jail Cell! has 35 at a median of 55; Pilot Training Flight Simulator has 22 at a median of 95. The floor of the whole sample is a shovel in a game called town, at 1 Robux.
How this was measured
Bloxism reads the public pass catalogue for each game on a rolling refresh and stores each pass's name, Robux price and on-sale flag with the time it was read. The figures here cover every pass that was on sale with a price, in a game with a page on this site, read between 19 July and 16 August 2026 — 1,516 passes across 179 games. Of those, 691 were read in the fortnight to 16 August and 460 in the week.
Because the refresh is rolling rather than simultaneous, each game's prices carry their own read date, which is why the tables above print one. Thirty passes drawn at random were read again from Roblox on 16 August 2026: twenty-nine were unchanged, and one had moved — a Rivals starter bundle at 49 Robux when it was last read on 19 July, and 59 on the day of the re-read.
Four limits worth naming.
Roblox's pass endpoint returns a sales count of zero for every pass it was asked about, which is a property of the endpoint rather than a fact about the passes. Nothing here says how many people bought anything. These are asking prices, and no revenue figure can be derived from them.
Prices are read without a signed-in session, so they are the default prices. Roblox launched Regional Pricing for in-experience items in April 2025, which lets a creator set a lower figure in some countries — a player in Brazil or India may be shown less than the number printed here.
The dollar conversions are arithmetic on Roblox's listed package prices, not a claim about what anyone paid. The same 249 Robux costs $3.11 out of the $4.99 package and $2.21 out of the $199.99 one, and on 16 August 2026 the page was running a promotion offering up to 25% more Robux per package, which would lower both figures again.
Finally, this is the set of games with pages on Bloxism, not the platform. It is wide enough to show a distribution and not a census of every pass on Roblox.
Passes are also only one of the two things a game can sell. A pass is bought once and kept; developer products are the repeatable purchase, and Roblox stores them separately. Nothing above covers those.
