Roblox games to play with friends that people are actually in right now

A game is only good with friends if there are enough people in it to fill a server. These are ordered by live player count, with what each one actually asks of a group.

Bar chart comparing concurrent players, last 6 hours for Brookhaven RP, Grow a Garden 2, Animal Hospital, Murder Mystery 2 and 99 Nights in the Forest.

The problem with "best games to play with friends" lists is that they rarely check whether anyone is still playing. A social game with an empty server is not a social game.

Everything below had a real population when we checked, and each entry says what it actually asks of a group — because "play with friends" covers wildly different things.

Best if you want to build or hang out

Brookhaven RP — 351,709 playing

The default. No objective, no timer: houses, cars, jobs and whatever your group decides to do. It is the closest thing Roblox has to a shared living room, which is exactly why it stays this large. Brookhaven houses, vehicles and props →

Adopt Me! — 291,689 playing

Pet collecting with a very developed trading economy underneath it. Good for a group with mixed commitment — someone can drop in for ten minutes and still be useful. Adopt Me pets and eggs →

Grow a Garden 2 — 461,417 playing

The biggest game on this list. Plant, harvest, trade, expand. It rewards a group that plays at different times, because progress keeps running between sessions. Grow a Garden 2 crops and gear →

Best if you want a round with a winner

Murder Mystery 2 — 226,405 playing

Short rounds, hidden roles, immediate arguments. The best pick if your group enjoys accusing each other. Murder Mystery 2 database →

RIVALS — 147,664 playing

A straight competitive shooter with the highest rating of anything in this group at 94%. Best when everyone is roughly matched; frustrating when they are not. RIVALS weapons and maps →

Forsaken — 89,935 playing

One hunts, the rest survive. Needs at least a few people who will coordinate, and falls apart if nobody communicates. Forsaken database →

Best for a group that likes a long project

99 Nights in the Forest — 178,165 playing

Cooperative survival with genuine failure states. The most demanding entry here, and the one that most rewards people actually dividing up jobs. 99 Nights items and creatures →

Blox Fruits — 177,133 playing

A long progression game rather than a party game. Good if your group wants something to grind together over weeks. Blox Fruits fruits and swords →

Best for a mixed-age group

Animal Hospital — 267,620 playing

The highest-rated game on this list at 95%. Gentle, cooperative, with clear roles — the safest pick when the group includes younger players. Animal Hospital database →

Dress to Impress — 59,493 playing

Themed styling rounds and a vote. Almost no skill barrier, which makes it the easiest thing to get a reluctant group into. Dress to Impress themes →

Picking between them

If you want to talk, take Brookhaven. If you want to argue, take Murder Mystery 2. If you want to actually cooperate under pressure, take 99 Nights in the Forest.

How this list was made. Bloxism records how many people are in each tracked Roblox experience on a schedule and stores every reading. The counts here were read on 20 July 2026; player numbers move constantly, so treat them as a snapshot of that moment rather than a permanent ranking. Nothing here is a paid placement. See how Bloxism measures for the full method, or the live charts for numbers that update on their own.
