A rod’s listed price is not the same as its practical value. Compare the catches it unlocks, the conditions it handles and what you give up by buying it early.

If you compare rods or catches, include the exact rod stats, fish, condition and location. A quoted purchase price cannot tell another angler whether the upgrade fits their current route.
