The Lionfish is a limited ultra-rare pet in Adopt Me! that was released on September 13, 2024, alongside the Ocean Event (2024). It could be obtained through purchasing a Small Wish for 1,000 Cranky Coins or a Big Wish for 4,000 Cranky Coins. Players had a 10% chance of obtaining a Lionfish from the Small Wish and a 40% chance of obtaining a Lionfish from the Big Wish. As the event has ended, it can only be obtained through trading.

Appearance
The Lionfish features a body that showcases vibrant stripes in shades of red, orange, and white that run along its sides. The head is slightly flattened with large, black eyes. It has spiky fins that are adorned with red and white patterns. Its dorsal fin features long, sweeping spines that fan out. Its tail is tapered and slightly forked, and sharp spines dot the back and sides.

Neon appearance
The Neon Lionfish glows ivory on parts of its face, tail, fins, and dorsal spines, while the spines on its fins glow yellow and red.
Mega Neon appearance
The Mega Neon Lionfish glows in the same areas as the Neon Lionfish, except those areas cycle through the colors of the rainbow.
