About Grow a Garden

Grow a Garden broke Roblox: a farming idle game whose garden keeps growing while you're offline, with an economy driven by rare seed restocks and mutation multipliers that can turn a cheap crop into a fortune. It became one of the most-played experiences on the platform on the strength of that simple, addictive loop.

Is there a Grow a Garden 2?

Yes — GaG2 launched June 12, 2026 as a full sequel with its own place, and progress does not carry over. It has its own hub: search Grow a Garden 2 or visit /grow-a-garden-2.

When does the seed shop restock?

Every 5 minutes, with rarer seeds appearing at random in each restock. The egg shop rotates every 30 minutes — our stock tracker counts both down live.

What are mutations and why do they matter?

Mutations multiply sell value: Golden ~20×, Rainbow ~50×, and weather mutations like Frozen (10×) or Shocked (100×) stack multiplicatively on top. Our calculator does the mutation math for you.

What's the best crop to plant?

Early on, multi-harvest starters like Strawberry and Tomato. Endgame, Prismatic multi-harvest crops rule — Romanesco is the per-harvest king at ~¢149k before mutations.
