Grow a Garden 2 — Everything That's New
Updated Jul 22, 2026
Quick answer
The sequel launched June 12, 2026 as a separate game — progress does NOT carry over. Here's what actually changed.
The big idea: other players are a threat
When night falls, stealing turns on. Other gardeners can slip into your plot and walk off with your harvest — unless you've prepared:
- Traps snare intruders mid-theft.
- Defensive plants like the Venom Spitter fight back for you.
- The Turtle pet stores fruit safely out of reach.
Quality of life
Everything lives in a central hub now — Seeds, Sell, Gear, Guilds and Props booths in one plaza. At the Sell Shop you can Bargain: haggle back-and-forth for a better price on single crops or your whole inventory.
Guilds & weekly rewards
Team up in guilds and compete for exclusive weekly rewards. Your garden also keeps growing offline — log in to a full plot.
Mega Moon (Update 1, June 19)
New plants (carnivorous types!), weather, pets, mutations and the gorgeous Aurora Borealis — a night sky that applies the aurora mutation to random crops. Plus the Mega Seed: grow a giant version of any non-limited crop.
