Dragon Token

ItemsBlox Fruits

Overview

The Dragon Token was added after Update 24, when the Dragon Fruit was reworked. It was introduced as a form of compensation for players who previously owned physical versions of the Dragon Fruit that were affected by the rework. After the update, old physical Dragon Fruits (both stored and equipped) were automatically exchanged into Dragon Tokens, which could be found in the player's inventory.

Functionality (Pre‑patch)

Before the December 17th, 2024 hotfix, Dragon Tokens functioned as follows: Each physical Dragon Fruit previously owned granted one Dragon Token. When redeemed, a Dragon Token would grant a random fruit, excluding Dragon.

Functionality (Post‑patch)

Following significant backlash from the community, Dragon Tokens were reworked in a patch hotfix on December 17th, 2024. Players who previously owned physical Dragon Fruits retained their Dragon Tokens and were additionally granted either the Eastern or Western version of the new Dragon Fruit for free. Redeeming a Dragon Token no longer grants a random Mythical fruit. Instead, it now grants one of the following fruits, all with equal chance: Shadow, Dough, Venom, Gas, Tiger, Yeti, Kitsune, or Dragon. Since January 7th, 2025, Dragon Tokens have become tradable. When traded to another player, the token is automatically redeemed upon receipt.

Trivia

Dragon Tokens were created due to the introduction of two separate Dragon variants.
