In order to unlock the Gold Rod's crafting recipe, the player must complete 10 of the Angler's Trust Quests from the First Sea. Upon meeting the requirements, they may craft the Gold Rod at the Angler in the First Sea with the following materials: 500,000 Wooden Planks Scrap Metal
