How Brookhaven's Houses & Vehicles Work

Updated Jul 22, 2026

Quick answer

Brookhaven doesn't explain itself — you're dropped into town and expected to figure out the systems. Here's how the property layer actually works.

Spawning houses

Open the house menu, pick a plot, pick a house — it materializes instantly, furnished. Key rules: one active house at a time, plots are first-come in each server, and switching houses is free and instant (your old one despawns). Premium houses carry a one-time Robux price and stay yours forever across servers; the free rotation covers everything a roleplay actually needs (every house, cataloged).

Saving and editing

Your house saves its customization — furniture edits, wall/floor swaps and placed items persist between sessions. The editing tools are the deep end of Brookhaven: furniture placement, color options and room-by-room control. If you're settling in for a long roleplay arc, invest the setup time; a personalized set is half the fun and it's waiting for you next login.

Locking and privacy

The house menu's privacy controls are your moderation tools: lock the doors to keep strangers out, or leave it open for visit-me roleplay. Learn these before you need them — every veteran has a story about a chaos-gremlin wandering into their family RP. The lock is also the polite fix for trolls; no confrontation required.

Vehicles

Same pattern as houses: menu, pick, spawn — one active vehicle, swap freely, premium rides are permanent unlocks (the full garage). Driving rules of the road: seats have owner-controlled access, and the passenger system is how carpools, taxis and family-trip RPs work. Aircraft (helicopter, jet and friends) are the map's fast travel and its best view — several are gamepass-tier (VIP breakdown).

The etiquette layer

None of this is enforced by code, but Brookhaven culture treats houses as personal space (knock — really), vehicles as owned property, and roleplay consent as the baseline. The systems above are just the tools; the town's actual operating system is politeness.
