The name of the seems to derive from Latin aurum, meaning "gold", and Latin ēns, meaning "thing" or "being." The represents the developer and project manager, Domeboybeene. The Saurium being an exception from trembling in the Aurutentia's presence is a reference to the Saurium being one of Domeboybeene's favorite dragons.
