Overview
"The Chronocus is a dragon that proudly watches the Prehistoric lands, known for its bulky proportions and height, but also for its sympathetic nature. These gentle giants feed on natural vegetation as they wander through the world in solitude. Despite their slow speeds in the air, they are not a dragon to underestimate. The overall defensive nature of a Chronocus makes them out to be tough protectors to those who provide for one, with incredible bite strength to pair.

In the wild, they serve as a natural guard for the local species of the Prehistoric world. As a sign of respect, these dragons typically return back to the Chronocus bearing small gifts - Ranging from the smallest coconut to the grandest willow leaves."

Patch history
Modeled by Erythia. Animated by Erythia. The Chronocus' name may derive from the ancient Greek root χρόνος (khrónos), meaning time. Its name may have also derived from Chronos, the Greek god of time. OiLumo shared that the Chronocus drew inspiration from multiple herbivorous dinosaurs. Its body has sauropod-like features, as well as ankylosaur armor. Its claws, and its back legs and ridge reference the Iguanodon and Parasaurolophus, respectively. Its crest heavily resembles that of a Diabloceratops frill. The Chronocus is currently the tallest and largest dragon. The, like all other currently released world dragons, received hatch presets on February 9th, 2024. The Chronocus's original breeding cooldown was 10 days. This was adjusted on February 16th, 2024 to become 2 days. The Chronocus has a corrupt, Shadow Altar counterpart called the Corrupted Chronocus. Additionally, the Chronocus is currently the only non-Shadow Altar dragon and world dragon to have a corrupted version of itself.
