Many have sought out evidence that they're real, with the greatest evidence being environmental change in places that were once lush."

Its name likely derives from "fable", a type of literary genre that typically features animals or non-human characters that are anthropomorphized, and "drak", meaning "dragon." The was originally concepted as a biped, as seen in its hatch presets sheet. The was mainly based off of Maleficent's dragon form from the 1959 Disney film Sleeping Beauty. It was also inspired by dragons depicted with thin necks and large bodies and dragons that breathe poison or non-fire fumes.
