The 's name is made up of English "feather" and "fang." The was based off of great horned owls and dromaeosaurs. The 's Dragonpedia entry references the Amazon's Joyful Horizons experience on Roblox, stating it came from a "fabled forest made of cardboard" and that it navigates through unfamiliar terrain with ease. It was the first non-season dragon to be released in 2025. It is the first quest dragon to be made first obtainable through a quest and not through other means.
