Its name seems to derive from "gord", from Latin gurdus, meaning "fat", and English "gourd." The was based off of gourds, pumpkins, bulldogs, and the Gruesome Gronckle from the How to Train Your Dragon franchise. The has permanent Black vertex painting on its vines.
