Gundrakken

LegendaryDragonsDragon Adventures

Overview

"Gundrakken started out as an attempt to bioengineer a dragon species that had vanished thousands of years ago — an effort that was largely successful. Prototypes of this species were outfitted with new attachments and enhancements to give them a new purpose: to protect tamers. Once activated, Gundrakken are unwaveringly loyal. They also respond well to foods or objects that are difficult to chew and, with their metal jaws, can even assist in recycling metals."

Mutations

The five possible mutations for this species are as follows

Patch history

Its name may be a combination of Gundam (ガンダムシリーズ), a Japanese military science fiction media franchise involving mechs, and "drakken", a corruption of draken or drake, meaning "dragon." The was shared by Werebearful to have been inspired by dragons seen in Yu-Gi-Oh! and a "big mix of mecha things." The has permanent Pitch markings and White teeth. It has permanent Neon material on its wing blades and lights. The wing blades emit dust-like particles. The was originally announced to be released in Week Two of the Galaxy Event 2025 on June 13th, however the announcement was edited later on to be Week Three instead. A day later however, its release date was reverted back to Week Two. It is currently unknown why its release date was originally changed. The Gundrakken was made available to hatch from the pre-implementation of the Binary Egg 2025 and Supercharged Egg 2025 when the Galaxy Event 2025 variants of said eggs were implemented on June 6th, 2025. The 2025 variant eggs were given to players who had returned after the Galaxy Event 2025 began and had unclaimed eggs incubated in event incubators that were returned to them from an update on April 18th, 2025. These eggs were changed to their 2024 counterparts on June 11th, and any Gundrakkens that were hatched were made hidden in player's Lairs until June 13th.
