Sharp plating serves them well in the deep shadows of the forest, as they must be ready for anything in the eerie, dark, haunted forests. Their thick manes and layered spikes give them a strong, defensive appearance, while their sleek wings allow for quick bursts of flight when threatened., Khorgeryn are solitary creatures that prefer quiet, shadowed areas, using their patience and power to outlast opponents. Khorgeryn have blood-red scales and pale wings to make them stand out, even in the darkest of environments."

Patch history

The name may be a combination of "manticore", particularly Ancient Greek μαρτιχόρας (martikhóras), and Ancient Greek ἐρυθρός (eruthrós), meaning "red." It appears to have been based off of the manticore and vampire. The was first revealed in a stream hosted by DearTwilight on September 28th. Part of its name could be seen in the.blend file's name, that being "* Khorg_Anims." The has permanent Pitch coloring on its claws and eyeliner. It also had permanent Concrete material on part of its tertiary regions upon its release until 8:07 PM EDT, when a fix was published to replace the material with the secondary color instead. It is currently unknown as to why this was done. This issue was not corrected in the Dragonpedia until November ~7th.
