When agitated or excited, the Lumenigh can unleash this energy in a display of light, mesmerizing onlookers. Or it can also deliver a powerful shock. Intelligent and curious, Lumenigh are eager learners, forming strong bonds with their trainers. Some skilled trainers have even harnessed the electrical charge from their Lumenigh to power devices or enhance magical spells. They are most commonly found in dark swamps and jungles, or flying through the night sky."

The Lumenigh was based on salamanders, cats, and fireflies. The represents the developer and programmer, FlightTheory. The Lumenigh emits particles from its feet when it has the Foot Trails mutation. The Lumenigh was accidentally put in the Dragonpedia on October 18th, 2024, however it was quickly removed from it in Origins. The is featured on two merchandise items, those being the Lumenigh Tote Bag and the Star Gazing Desk Mat.
