"Roaming the tropical forests of Dragonaria, Pananisea are a rare sight among the tall trees. These flashy dragons group up into large flocks, chasing off any inhabitants to claim the perfect nesting spots. Well equipped, these dragons wield massive, spiked, club-like tails and powerful talons, making even a single one a tough opponent to defeat. Their leafy nesting regions can go for miles, and males will spend days perfecting mating dances to attract females. Adventures who manage to take this species often notice that their dragon is extremely protective of them and other companions of their tamer. This behavior is speculated to stem from the fact that the Pananisea is considering their tamer as part of their flock. Although this trait is desired by many adventurers, the Pananisea’s territorial nature makes them difficult to tame, and ultimately leads to many adventures coming back unsuccessful and injured."
