"Putrefacceum is half-dragon, half-parasite-- coexisting together as one living being. Morphing with its body, infection had created multiple excrescence and feelers, deformed some parts of the body and forced the dragon to secrete poison. Behaving mostly passive, parasites makes putrefacceum a lot stronger: its breath becomes much more intense, its tongue had adapted for hunting - sticky and long, it captures and paralyzes prey before it flees., Putrefasseum does not like cold environments. Its body begins to function more slowly and inhibited. When the parasites sense temperature drop, it forces the dragon to move to swampy areas, where it hibernates for the winter., Despite it being driven by infection, Putrefacceum are intelligent and tameable. These dragons very rarely attack people or their companions; only on rare occasions when they are starving. If you would care for it and feed it, it will do everything and anything to protect its tamer."

The dragon's name may be derived from the word "putrefaction", which is defined as: "the process of rotting". The was based off of the Rot featured in the survival-platform video game Rain World. The is of Relic rarity because it comes from Season 6, which marks a "halfway milestone" from Season 1. It currently has the highest fly speed out of all dragons. After its release, the had a bug in which its resting idle would turn into the dragon t-posing. The bug was fixed several weeks later.
