The Quahtona's name is made up of classical Nahuatl cuauhtli, meaning "eagle", and tōna, meaning "to shine" or "to be hot/sunny", which may also derive from tonatiuh, meaning "sun". Its design was inspired by Aztec jewelry, eagles and Aztec depictions of eagles, and from some of the Solstice event buildings, namely the Sun Arch. The was made breedable on December 6th, 2024, alongside the Mechanoxide, Tempiritus, and the Trametos.
