"Smokgien are elusive dragons with unknown origins, but they are always found living near civilization. Despite this, they are highly solitary and avoid the presence of other dragons, making them difficult to tame. They reside at great heights, such as frozen mountaintops, and their bodies radiate intense heat, keeping them warm. Smokgien take great pride in their confidence and their flames, which burn like molten lava. According to legend, they guard vast treasures in their nests, attracting adventurers who dare to intrude upon their territory. When enraged or when their confidence is underestimated, Smokgien abandon their nests in a fiery rampage, destroying everything in their path as they unleash their full fury. Their attacks are precise, giving them an advantage in territorial control and warding off other dragons. However, their relatively slow flight makes them less effective at hunting or chasing down fast-moving prey."

Patch history
Modeled by JaxonBirb. Animated by BlckBrryJam. The Smokgien's name is a combination of the Polish words smok and ogień, meaning "dragon" and "fire", respectively. The Smokgien was inspired by dragons from Skyrim, The House of the Dragon, and other RPG illustrations. The main design is intended to be similar to those seen in fairy tales. The, alongside the Balgunyur, were originally intended to release in the Guild Wars PvP world. However, due to delays, they were finally decided to be added for Guild Wars 6.
