The 's name appears to derive from Japanese すいいき (suiiki), which refers to a body of water, and ～ぽん (-pon), an honorific suffix seen as affectionate and cute. The Suiikipon may reference the myth of the Longmen (dragon's gate). In the myth, carp that manage to swim up a river and scale a waterfall will be transformed into a dragon at the top. The Koi Preset Potion is able to replicate the 's default colors. The became breedable alongside the other Shinrin dragons on September 26th, 2025. On October 10th, 2025, its breeding level adjustment was lowered from level 50 to level 10.
