"Each year during February, the elusive heartbreak scavenger begins to return to Dragonaria, their ominous flocks casting dreary shadows over the land. Vulcoramor are cruel, heartless vultures. They are fond of Valentines, but not for the reason you may think. Born of heartbreak, a Vulcoramor will spend its entire life searching for it; sparing no expense to inflict suffering on others, or to feed on the misery of those already in pain. It often seems they find a mortal enemy in Desygual, whose love for each other becomes the bane of a Vulcoramor’s existence. Though primarily solitary, rarely Vulcoramor will find a parter. When they do, they are together for life; though the observations of this phenomenon are so scarce that they’re considered legend. It is said that two Vulcoramor who experience intense enough love for each other, become something else entirely..."

Modeled by ThunderBoo666. Animated by PermanentlyCarys. Its name appears to derive from "vulture", "corrupt", and the Latin amor - meaning "love" or "affection." Additionally, as stated on its concept art, the Vulcoramor is based off of bearded vultures. The 's hatch presets are based off of and named after the five stages of grief. The 's original default colors were intended to be those seen in its "Anger" hatch preset, which were also based off of the bearded vulture. The has permanent Pitch coloring on its eyeliner, chains, claws, and beard and permanent Pepper around its eyes. It also has permanent Neon material on some tertiary region spots.
