The Shadow Egg is an egg able to be obtained from the Shadow Altar in Prehistoric. Every time the global offerings goal is met, 100 Shadow Eggs will be made obtainable. A Shadow Egg will spawn in for the player only if they are in Prehistoric, their Shadow Egg spawn chance is at least 1%, and there are Shadow Eggs available. Note that the player does not have to be at the Shadow Altar, they only need to be in Prehistoric. The player can raise their chance of obtaining a Shadow Egg up to 6% (see here for Shadow Point percentages) and can obtain multiple Shadow Eggs.

Trivia
The Shadow Egg is currently the only tribute egg. The Shadow Egg resembles the Shadow Altar. The Shadow Egg received proper Lucky Egg hatch chances on August 2nd, 2024. Collecting a Shadow Egg does not count towards "Find 3 eggs from the Prehistoric World" daily missions, even though using and following a Heroes League map does. Category:Eggs
