Nathaniel B is based off of the meme "Nathaniel B", which went viral on tiktok for its confusing nature. In the Nathaniel B meme, the person asking "ain't you Nathaniel B" didn't actually mean to refer to the youtube channel, but rather because the person he was asking looked like his brother (who is named Nathaniel). The initial "B" was added because he couldn't think of anything to rhyme with "me". Nathaniel B’s kill sound is shared with The Rock, Sad Sponge, 1000 Yard Stare, Bart, Biggest Loser, Wake Up, Angry Seeker, Seeker, Barbacue Bacon Burger, Hitman, Real Life and Walter. Nathaniel B is the second nextbot to be a YouTube profile picture. The first being Brody, the third being Caseoh.
