Pickle Rick is based off the third season, third episode of the TV show, Rick and Morty. He has also become a minor Internet meme, albeit only for a short period of time during 2020. The first kill sound are shared with their variant Rick Sanchez. However, speaking is different. Pickle Rick, Rick Sanchez and Rick Friend are based on the same character.
