Overview
Chess is a map in RIVALS set on a giant chessboard with numbered edges for orientation. The map features a largely open layout with giant chess pieces scattered around, and some even floating out of the chess board, providing minimal (yet adequate) cover for both players. The map is well suited for both long-range and close-quarters combat, its design allowing for players to move and plan tactically while offering a visually distinct environment compared to the game's other maps.
