Description
The War Machine is currently a tower exclusive to anyone who is a moderator or higher special role in the Tower Defense Simulator Discord server, though on rare occasions it has been given to other users. The War Machine is planned to become more accessible for users, where it will be given someone who has contributed to the game through the workshop portal, following a review by a lead developer. The War Machine uses an exoskeleton with two miniguns. At Level 2, the exoskeleton also has a missile launcher, allowing it to fire Stark Missiles. At Level 2, it also gains the ability to apply various buffs to towers in its range through its Command Aura. The War Machine has a placement limit of 5 per player.

Strategy
The War Machine can be a powerful DPS tower mid to late game, dealing close to 1,000 DPS. At Level 2, the War Machine gains a missile launcher, which gains more missiles and stronger stats with upgrades, which is quite decent against hordes of enemies, such as the Fallen Hazmat. Because the missile launcher deals splash damage, the War Machine can also damage Lead enemies with it, making it very useful against the Lead and Elite Leads early on. At Level 4, the War Machine gets hidden detection and at Level 5, it gets flying detection, making it a very versatile tower by the mid to late game combined with its high DPS and splash capabilities. Although it cannot damage them with its main attack, its missiles and the Railgun Tank collision and explosion damage can also damage Lead enemies. However, because of how expensive it is to upgrade to Level 4 and 5, it should not be solely relied upon to attack enemies with these attributes. At Level 5, it gains the Freeze Immunity, making it useful against enemies that mainly freeze towers.

Patch history
The War Machine's appearance and some of its mechanics appear to have been based on an Exoskeleton tower suggestion from the Tower Defense Simulator Discord server. However, the name of the War Machine and its Stark Missile are references to the War Machine from Marvel. The War Machine's Level 5 Command Aura description is a reference to its first description, which in turn was a reference to Risk of Rain 2, specifically the Commando's old ending phrase. The War Machine had the most expensive upgrade cost in the game, until Gatling Gun was added. After the Overhaul Update, the War Machine gained 12 damage on Level 2, giving it 13 damage, thus giving it an absurd 104 DPS for just 2,900. This was only fixed in late May.
