It can be purchased for 4,000 Pet Releaser Tickets, which are earned through using the Pet Releaser, or obtained through trading. The Crystal Egg takes 5 tasks to hatch. The pets available from the Crystal Egg rotate over time as new pets are added and older ones are removed.

Appearance
The Crystal Egg features a sky-blue shell with dozens of interconnecting swirls on it. There is a translucent gel-like coat on the egg, and a white sparkle effect coming off it.
Patch history
• On February 20, 2026, the Pet Releaser received an overhaul and the currency earned from it was changed from to. Along with the price of the Crystal Egg changing, the pet odds of it were also changed. The old odds were 25% uncommon, 30% rare, 39% ultra-rare, 6% legendary, and a 0.1% chance of a Giant Panda; it was most notably changed to have a 0% chance of hatching into an uncommon.
