The African Wild Dog is a limited ultra-rare pet in Adopt Me! that was added on July 13, 2023. It could have been obtained through buying 5 UGC items in the Accessory Shop. The least expensive UGC items cost 59 Robux and the most expensive UGC items cost 100 Robux. For all 5 UGC items necessary to unlock the African Wild Dog, the price ranged from 295 Robux to 500 Robux. It was replaced by the Jellyfish on January 4, 2024, and can now only be obtained through trading. The African Wild Dog replaced the Glacier Moth at its release in the Accessory Shop.

Appearance
The African Wild Dog features a dark brown body, brown ears, black eyes, and a small darker brown nose. It has off-white fluff inside its ears, a tan back with brown and off-white spots, and a small brown tail with a white tip.
