The Basilisk is a limited rare pet in Adopt Me! that was released along with the Halloween Event (2022) on October 6, 2022. It was priced at 25,000 Candy. It can now only be obtained through trading, as the event is over.

Appearance
The Basilisk features a long green body with light green flecks throughout. It has sharp white teeth, a thin red tongue, beige ruffles above its eyes, and a light green underbelly. It has a slithering animation when idle.

Neon Appearance
The Neon Basilisk glows bright green on the spots on its back and the ruffles above its eyes.
Mega Neon Appearance
The Mega Neon Basilisk glows in the same areas as its Neon version, except these areas cycle through the colors of the rainbow.
Strategy
The Basilisk has a counterpart, the Evil Basilisk, which cost 60,000 Candy; the Basilisk was less expensive than its counterpart.
