The Pterodactyl is a limited rare pet in Adopt Me! that was released on October 10, 2020. As it is now unavailable, it can only be obtained through trading or hatching any remaining Fossil Eggs. Players have a 25% chance of hatching a rare pet from the Fossil Egg, but only an 8.33% chance of hatching a Pterodactyl.

Appearance
The Pterodactyl features a dark gray-blue body with a yellow underbelly and feet. It has a long, red bit protruding from the top of its head and a long, yellow beak coming from the bottom of its head. While its wings are mainly dark gray-blue, the tips are red. Two black eyes can be seen on its face.

Neon appearance
The Neon Pterodactyl glows purple on its crest, the edges of its wings, and its feet.
Mega Neon appearance
The Mega Neon Pterodactyl glows in the same areas as the Neon Pterodactyl, except those areas cycle through the colors of the rainbow.
