The Red Squirrel is an ultra-rare pet in Adopt Me! that was added to the game on May 13, 2021. It was purchasable in the Pet Shop or in the shop menu for 200 Robux. On May 4, 2023, the Red Squirrel was relocated to the Final Stop Shop with a price reduction to 125 Robux; after two weeks, the Red Squirrel was removed from the game. It can now only be obtained by trading.

Appearance
The Red Squirrel has a chestnut-colored body except for its cream white underbelly and the beige back side of its tail. It has two small legs and arms and a large bushy tail. On its head, it has two large black eyes, a light pink heart-shaped nose, and two ears.

Neon appearance
The Neon Red Squirrel glows bright yellow under its neck, under its tail, and on its belly.

The Mega Neon Red Squirrel glows in the same areas as the Neon Red Squirrel, except those areas cycle through the colors of the rainbow.
