A Coconut is an inventory item that was added in the 2019-09-28 update. It will spawn a large, green circle on the field you used it on. If caught, it will convert pollen into a ring of 10 honey tokens. It can also collect pollen for the player that summoned it, damage mobs, and can be used in certain crafting recipes. Pollen from coconuts can be increased with the Coconut Clogs, pollination, and the Coconut Field Market Boost (now impossible to obtain as the Boost Market has been removed). A maximum of 500 coconuts can be held at a time, as the item's highest capacity limit, excluding items that don't have a capacity limit.

Ways to Obtain
Defeating the Coconut Crab grants coconuts (depending on the time taken to defeat it). Growing sprouts in the Coconut Field. Farming in the Coconut Field. Harvesting Leaves here may also yield. There is a token worth 10 coconuts under the leaves of the palm tree closest to Spirit Bear. Using the Coconut Dispenser grants 3x Coconut (amount increases with each Coconut Badge tier obtained, up to 15x Coconut). Redeeming certain valid codes: 1MLikes (Gives 1x Coconut + other items). Winning them from Mega Memory Match and Extreme Memory Match (available in increments of 3 and 5 respectively). As a rare gift from Cub Buddy in increments of 1. As a drop from an Armored Aphid. Harvesting planters in the Coconut Field, Pine Tree Forest or Pepper Patch. As a drop from puffshrooms within the 35 bee zone. Purchasing the Reindeer Bundle from Bee Bear's Catalog for 250x Gingerbread Bear grants 100x Coconut and other items. The Palm Tree sticker rewards 10x Coconut when added to the Sticker Stack.
Conversion
When the coconut lands on a player, Pollen is converted in your Backpack and has a maximum amount of 100% of the player's total hive convert amount. For example, if a player has 500,000 total hive convert amount and a coconut lands on them, up to 500,000 pollen would be converted into honey tokens. The amount of honey received from the coconut is multiplied by Honey From Tokens.

Patch history
Before the 2021-12-26 update, the player could only hold a max of 150x Coconut. It has been increased to 500 after said update. Getting hit by a coconut originally converted 75% of the player's hive convert amount into honey. This is the only inventory item that can directly damage mobs. If you have no pollen in your bag, catching a coconut will still spawn honey tokens that give 1x Honey each, (before Honey From Tokens is applied). This happens because a honey token needs to give you at least 1 honey. When used in the Hive Hub, a total of 1,500x Honey is given, meaning each honey token grants 150 honey.
