By default, a hive contains 25 Hive Slots for bees. However, the player can purchase 25 additional slots at the Mountain Top Shop, for a max total of 50. The first slot starts at 3,000,000 (3 million) honey and increases sub-exponentially, capping off at 2,169,203,229,760 (2.17 trillion) at the 25th extra slot. The equation is roughly: y=4^{\left(-8\sin\left(0.1x-1\right)+x+3.8\right)}

Trivia
The maximum amount of hive slots used to be 40, but it is now 50.
SDMittens was the first person to obtain fifty hive slots, which she bought on April 22, 2019.
Originally, Onett planned to add five additional hive slots that cost Robux, but this was canceled.
This was also seen in the Test Realm for some time.
