Obtainment

The Headband (Black) can be obtained by training with the Sharkman Master.

Buffs

The buffs of the Headband (Black) cannot be seen when interacting with the Nerd, but are visible through the Builds section of the inventory. The accessory buffs movement speed, defense against all damage types, and a melee damage bonus. It provides 16% defense against all damage types, 70% speed boost, 7% melee damage and one extra Instinct Dodge.

Secret Technique

The Headband (Black) grants access to the Secret Technique, which allows captured fish to be used as weapons. The mechanic is similar to the finisher from the Fish Slap Battle move, but it can be used freely anywhere. Knockback is determined by the rarity of the fish used, while weight has no effect.

Patch history

Despite having very good buffs, it has an unusually low rarity. The headbands are not accurate to real-life karate traditions, where headbands are not used for ranking. All of the headbands seem to be rigged to the head poorly, as they all clip at the edges.
