Tips & Tricks
The player can get the Vice Admiral stuck on certain walls at the bottom of the stairs near his boss room, which will allow the player to damage him without being damaged. The Vice Admiral can also get stuck on some of the walls of his boss room, allowing the player to damage him from the outside. Long ranged weapons, melee and fruits are recommended to minimize vulnerability to his move and melee attacks. The Vice Admiral gives as much money as Swan and Magma Admiral but is much easier to kill. The Vice Admiral is recommended for players in the First Sea if they want to grind money and Bounty/Honor. One method to defeat the Vice Admiral is to try to perform the "hit and run" technique. It consists of the player dodging away the boss, landing a hit and dashing away before it reacts and hits them. If done correctly and efficiently, the player should be able to consistently land hits on the boss without letting him hit the player. (Note: the player should make sure to not run out of energy, otherwise they won't be able to dash. They should also make sure that the boss doesn't stop chasing them. If the player does not notice that the Vice Admiral has stopped chasing soon enough, the Vice Admiral will start to heal rapidly) Using Light is recommended if the player has unlocked. The player can then use the move and spam sword attacks. However, this does not always work, since does not stun consistently.
Trivia
Sometimes, players cannot damage the Vice Admiral from the outside of the room he is in due to a hitbox glitch at the entrance. The Vice Admiral appears as the Marines team when a player joins a server.
