Blox Fruits Races and Fruit Awakenings

Race progression and fruit awakening are separate systems. Your race affects your character's passive and later abilities. A fruit awakening changes eligible fruit moves. If you are deciding what to work on next, identify which system you mean before spending resources.

Check the current race names

The community race reference lists Human, Rabbit, Shark, Angel, Ghoul, Cyborg and Draco. Older guides may still call Rabbit “Mink,” Shark “Fishman,” or Angel “Skypiean”; those older names should not be used as a current seven-race list. The same reference describes Human, Rabbit, Shark and Angel as possible starting races, with separate unlock paths for Ghoul, Cyborg and Draco.

Race versions unlock through different requirements. Look up the current requirement for your race and version before committing to a reroll or quest chain. A reroll should solve a specific build or playstyle problem, not just follow someone else's tier list.

Understand a fruit awakening

The community raid reference describes fruit raids in the Second and Third Seas. When an eligible raid is completed with the matching fruit equipped, the player can spend Fragments to awaken a move. Not every fruit has an awakening, so check the current raid and fruit entry before you start collecting Fragments for that goal. A new fruit does not simply inherit the moves you awakened on another fruit.

Think in moves, not in a single “fully awakened” switch. You need a matching raid, enough Fragments for the move you want, and a fruit you use regularly. If your raid team struggles to finish, building a reliable route to the final island matters more than a theoretical endgame ranking.
