Spawning
Agony spawned every 20 minutes during the event, this spawn alternating between Agony and Ashen within the Grand Colosseum. He despawned after 9 minutes. When he spawned, the following system message "Pain takes form at the Colosseum." appeared. Agony revived as a Tormented Boss after he had low health, increasing his HP from 55,000 to 200,000. After he was defeated or time had passed, the message "Pain recedes." appeared.
Tips & Tricks
After Agony revived as a Tormented Boss, his HP increased from 55,000 to 200,000, and the max damage was increased by x3, allowing players to kill him quickly. Agony attacked nearly three times faster than other bosses when tormented, making him quite deadly. Despite not losing Bounty/Honor, it was recommended to fight him in a private server if possible, as the location at which he spawned was a PvP zone, making it very hard to fight him without being killed in the process. Even when your PvP is disabled, it will be automatically enabled after entering the colosseum, making this a very hard challenge Bomb's V move, Self Destruct, was very useful against Agony as he would swarm the user while they are charging the attack, leading to extremely high damage to the boss in one burst. It was highly recommended to use Buddha or fruits with great range and are good for PvP, since it was a PvP zone.
Patch history
Agony is the same Pain user who fought Ashen in the Updates/27.0 trailer. Agony also shares his name with the Agony skin, the base skin of the Pain fruit. Agony is the only NPC to use the Pain fruit, aside from the Tormented Bosses.
