Notes
Rabbit does add speed, but the difference is less when transformed. This is because Rabbit's buffs for Buddha got nerfed. Accessories provide speed boosts normally. Pilot Helmet and Rabbit V2 will allow the user to move at a moderate speed, and the Agility (V3 ability) can help if the player is not in Third Sea Draco's V2 flight ability and Flash Step are significantly buffed in Buddha form, letting the user fly much higher and their Flash Step having a much larger AoE. Buddha's unawakened total damage reduction when stacked with full body Aura is 54%, while the awakened form has 61%. Using Shark V3 while wearing the Leviathan Shield will make the user's defense (against Melee/Sword/Gun attacks) up to 90%, or 79.14% by using Cyborg V3. Unawakened Buddha moves can be used while in awakened form. However, awakened moves cannot be used in unawakened form. Buddha is a great choice to grind with, but Elemental fruits are far better choices in First Sea due to them being easier to obtain. Sanguine Art gains a higher range buff when transformed compared to other Fighting Styles. However, unlike other Fighting Styles, Sanguine Art has a small blind spot around the user's legs while transformed. Although Buddha generally makes the user very powerful, its main weaknesses are its huge hitbox, slow speed, and low range, since most Buddha users use swords as their main damage output, so some fruits can easily counter Buddha, either by using long and inescapable combos, or by simply out-ranging them.
Tips & Tricks
It is recommended to use the Ghoul race and/or the Ghoul Mask with Buddha. When the user attacks another player with a fighting style, they will regain a portion of the damage they dealt to them as health. Specifically, the user will heal back 35% of the damage they inflicted. If the player attacks an NPC, they will gain back 7.5% of the damage they dealt to them as health. For example, if the player deals 2000 damage to a player, they will regain 700 health. If they deal 2000 damage to an NPC, they will regain 150 health. Using into water completely nullifies its endlag. This allows the user to bounce if they jump at the right time, making traveling between islands and running away from players easier. Using the Headband (Black) with the Awakened form allows the user to reach a staggering 61% damage reduction against other players (75% against NPCs). It is widely recommended to put all stats into Melee, Defence and Sword to maximize damage output and effectiveness in activities like grinding and PvP, as Fruit mains may not benefit from the extended M1 range as much as Sword mains, due to the fact that Fighting Style M1's generally have lower damage output, speed and range compared to Swords. Because of this, many players only awaken the and rarely the moves for the damage reduction and range buff, and for slight mobility, instead of gaining mastery to unlock all of Buddha's abilities, as the [Z] move is the only move necessary for the range and defence buffs.

Patch history
There was a belief that Buddha's increased damage dealt by swords and fighting styles M1s, but this was proven to be false. Although this fruit is named Buddha, its icon is actually Budai, the laughing monk often mistaken for the real Buddha. Buddha used to grant the user twice their health during transformation, which was then removed in order to balance it. Buddha was the actual first fruit (the "second-first" fruit being Phoenix) to grant the user health benefits. The Japanese Kanji/Traditional Chinese characters around the aura of the awakened version of mean: 草 (grass), 体 (body), 心 (heart), 魂 (soul), 火 (fire), 水 (water), 風 (wind), and 岩 (stone). Similarly, the symbols in the outer circle are derived from Elder Futhark runes, and they represent ᛓ (wealth), ᚨ (god), ᚷ (gift), ᛖ (horse), ᛟ (heritage), ᛈ (pear-tree), ᛝ (the god Ingwaz), ᛗ (man), ᛢ (yew-tree), ᛉ (elk), ᛃ (good year), ᚹ (joy), ᛋ (sun), ᛞ (day), ᚱ (journey), and ᛒ (birch). It's the language of the symbols of the Colosseum Quest. A glitch can be done where if the user starts any Raid and uses awakened Buddha’s, the final column after the user teleports to the raid island will appear there, and will not disappear before the final explosion reaches Hot and Cold (Raid room). The player will get a similar result when they use the move when they get teleported away after the raid ends. Buddha and Control are the only fruits that buff weapons. Additionally, Buddha is the only fruit that buffs Fighting Styles.
