Appearance

Hot and Cold located to the south of the Green Zone, it is a pair of tomoe (comma) shaped islands, which put together, is shaped like a Taijitu (yin-yang) circle. It has a river of water that separating it. As the name suggests, one island is cold, and the other is hot. The cold side (left part of the image) resembles an icy tundra with pale and blue colors, being mainly covered in snow and ice. In the center lies a large layered laboratory with a glass globe on top of it, with multiple events being able to be hosted inside it. The laboratory has a smaller extension on its left and right side, as an long additional extension on the pointy tip of the island. The island also has a small village on the right. The hot side (right part of the image) is a hellscape-like area, with lava seeping on it. The elevated center inhabits the Smoke Admiral inside a black cathedral with red stained glass windows, surrounded by a pool of lava and curved spires. The cathedral also has a crypt that can be accessed from a slightly opened door in behind, where players can buy Order raid chips from Arlthmetic. A volcano is located on the left and right side of cathedral. The left volcano and a hill are connected by a metal arch and having a bucket that is pouring lava. There's also another hill in between the arch, which leads to a hidden room for hosting Order raids and purchasing the Cyborg race. There's a large village in the right side of cathedral near the right volcano, with two sectors that are separated by an arch made by elevated center.

Note: The Smoke Admiral is located in the black cathedral in the center of the Hot Island.

Laboratory

Upon entering the Laboratory, players will encounter four large panels. Clicking on one of the panels will cause the screen's color to change. Arranging the panels in the sequence of Red, Blue, Green, and Blue (🟥🟦🟩🟦) will open a door behind the panels which will lead to the raid room following a steep passage where the players can join or host a raid. (The player needs to make sure to not hold anything in order to click on one of the panels). Additionally, upon entering the room, the player can collect 2 golden chests and 1 silver chest.

Trivia

Although the Smoke Admiral's quest giver is on the cold side, his boss room is on the hot side. The Barista Cousin has a chance of spawning next to the of the Smoke Admiral's Castle. There is a glitch where if the player spawns a Boat larger than the Brigade at the Ice Island's Boat Dealer/Luxury Boat Dealer spawn, the boat will get stuck. The hot side of Hot and Cold is very infamous for allowing players with the Portal fruit be able to teleport to the lava. There is a small area on the bucket of pouring lava on the Hot side of Hot and Cold where the lava will not harm the player. Hot and Cold is known to be annoying to grind in, due to all the enemies being spaced apart (especially the Magma Ninjas) dealing high damage, and having lengthy stuns.
