The Barista Cousin spawns at a set location 20 minutes after a server starts, despawns after 20 minutes of being spawned, and respawns two minutes after despawning, which restarts the timer. This process will be repeated infinitely until a server is shut down.

Tips for finding

Once in a new server: Check Green Zone, then check the Forgotten Island. Teleport back using the home button. Check Hot and Cold, then Cursed Ship. Teleport back using the home button. Check Snow Mountain, then Ice Castle. Teleport back using the home button. If the Barista Cousin is not present, server hop again and repeat all steps. This method is the fastest, but only checks one location. Set home point to any location of choice (Cursed Ship recommended), then server hop. Once in a new server, check the Barista Cousin spawn point closest to the home point. If the Barista Cousin is not present, server hop again and repeat all steps. Set home point to Cursed Ship, then server hop. Once in a new server: Check the Cursed Ship, then use Portal to world warp to "Docks 3" in order to check the Green Zone. Travel overseas to check Hot and Cold, then use Portal and check the Ice Castle. Travel overseas again to check the Snow Mountain, then use Portal [C] to go and check the Forgotten Island. Teleport back using the home button. If the Barista Cousin is not present, server hop again and repeat all steps.; -; Third Sea=

Third Sea

The Second Sea method is much easier (and highly recommended) over the Third Sea method, due to the distances between islands & their spawn points being higher. This method requires the Portals to be unlocked. Set home point to Castle on the Sea, then server hop. Once in a new server: Check Castle on the Sea. Use the portals to check Floating Turtle. Use the portals to check Hydra Island. If no Barista Cousin is present, server hop again and repeat all steps., Feel free to use Portal [C] to world warp to and check the other islands (Great Tree, Port Town) or to increase speed.

Trivia

The Barista Cousin is often called "Short Barista" by players, in reference to its short height compared to the Barista. Multiple people are able to learn a recipe from the Barista Cousin without it immediately despawning afterwards. This is in contrast to the Legendary Sword Dealer, which disappears immediately after selling the player a sword. There are five titles to be obtained from the Barista Cousin: Purchasing a recipe from the Barista Cousin will reward the player with the title #146. Purchasing a recipe from the Barista Cousin or a sword from the Legendary Sword Dealer will reward the player with the title #112. Purchasing the "Snow White" aura color recipe will award the player with the title "True Heart" #147 Purchasing the "Pure Red" aura color recipe will award the player with the title "Bringer of Doom" #148 Purchasing the "Winter Sky" aura color recipe will award the player with the title #149 Purchasing all the recipes from the Barista Cousin will reward the player with the title #150. If the player speaks to the barista cousin but doesn't close the dialogue, and he despawns, when they attempt to unlock the recipe, he will say "Gone." similar to the Legendary Sword Dealer.
