The character appeared for the first time during an April Fools Blox Fruits Dating Simulator, and has since then become a sort of joke. So far, it did not have actual in-game relevance, until the recent addition of the Valentines Delivery, where it now seems to be part of the game. Also, during the 2026 Egg Hunt Event, its portrait became interactable with a proximity prompt labeled "Admire rip_indra-chan" to which it responds to using dialogue.

Trivia
rip_indra-chan has also existed ever since the April Fools event, it however was only a frame, seen at Middle Town in Café and Mansion. The frame had three dialogues during the Easter Egg Hunt.
