Obtainment
The Buddy Sword can be obtained after defeating the Cake Queen (5 to 10% chance to obtain), who can be found on the second island in the Sea of Treats (Ice Cream Land), located in the Third Sea.
Patch history
can be dodged if the target is currently dodging another hit concurrently (e.g. the target is shot with Skull Guitar, turns on Instinct, and later be shot with while dodging, thus making them dodge out of the way of the wave). has a glitch if the player uses the tab glitch, they can aimbot the lightning wave hitting it no matter where they are. This glitch does not always 100% work. The Buddy Sword can be hard to combo with, because launches the enemy pretty far away and the player can't continue the combo. The solution for this is to have the player face downwards and do the combo, causing the enemy to not go anywhere but get stuck at the ground for an open combo. The description for Buddy Sword was silently changed, likely to cut ties from the Soul fruit.
