Borealis (also known as Sector 07) is one of the various event maps in Evade. It was released on December 26th, 2024 within the Winter Holidays update. The map was created by WarpGamer2017 and wlfguy3.
The map shows a research complex in a gorge, with located somewhere in the northern polar region. There are many buildings on the map, and there are also bridges connecting the two sides. In the canyon itself, there is a rapid stream of water that leads to a dam. There are also several containers and technologies here that belong to Elysium Corporation. At the highest point there is a sign where you can find a name of this object – Sector 07. In highest laboratory you can find a frozen Bobo and Doctor Freeman's costume from Half-Life 1.

Strategy
When Borealis is loading, in its loading screen you can see mouse cursor, this is best seen on a PC/other devices with large monitor. The same applies to Borealis icon in the vote. This map belongs to Elysium Corporation. Original map Borealis was created by Valve, which was supposed to appear in Half Life 3. The word Borealis means Northern. Borealis and Winterfall Kingdom is the second difficulty event maps, with was added to the game, the first one is Hallow's Rail.
