Kyoto is one of the various maps in Evade. It was released on December 31st, 2022 within the Holiday Event and reworked in January 29th, 2025 within the Lunar Year update. It was originally created by SnailCirculation and reworked by MontiCats. It is one of the three maps that are based on the Japanese culture, with the other one being Imperial Palace and Hokkaido. This map was inspired by cs_kyoto.

In the Lunar Year update, Kyoto received quite significant redesign, with featuring more larger mansion, new decorations, props like Japanese paintings, plants and new textures. Kyoto is a large enclosed mansion, as the name suggests, the map is based on the Imperial palaces built by ancient Japanese imperial dynasties in Kyoto. The map has dozens of rooms with lit Candles, beds, and doors that are slid open. The map also has two large courtyards located on each side. with balconies and stone structures in the middle. In one of the closets, a frozen Bobo can be seen.

Trivia

Kyoto is one of three maps that based on Japanese culture, other: Imperial Palace and Hokkaido. Kyoto is a second map, that related to CS:GO game, the first one is Arid Ruins, the third one is Office. This is one of the few maps whose location is known.
