Strategy
The bestiary hint for Ancient Wood reads, "Legends whisper of Sunstone Island radiating an aura of ancient power". While Ancient Wood is caught around Sunstone Island, it is regionless and can only be seen in the "All" tab of the bestiary. Despite being able to be mutated, the only mutations which affect its visual appearance are Big and Giant.

What does this mean?
Fisch's in-game currency. A fish's value is its average sale price in C$ at average weight. A rod's value is its listed C$ price, which may be only one part of a crafting requirement. These are game reference figures, not trading consensus. Values are not comparable across games.
