Overview[1][2]
Basalt is a Trash catch in Fisch, found around Roslit Volcano. In-game bestiary: “Basalt, also known as Lava Rock, is an igneous volcanic rock that forms when molten lava cools and solidifies. Very common to find when in a volcanic area.”
Basalt is a Trash item obtainable at Roslit Volcano, Scoria Reach and Fallen Stars. Due to its low rarity, it makes for an easy catch, moving slowly across the fishing bar. When hooked, an exclamation icon will pop above the player's head, and a bell sound is played - as with all Trash fish. Gives 10 XP when caught (Base value).

What does this mean?
Fisch's in-game currency. A fish's value is its average sale price in C$ at average weight. A rod's value is its listed C$ price, which may be only one part of a crafting requirement. These are game reference figures, not trading consensus. Values are not comparable across games.
