Overview[1][2]
Hogchoker is an Extinct catch in Fisch, found around Open Ocean — sells for about 4 C$ per kg. In-game bestiary: “A sandy-colored fish with beige fins, flattening itself against the ocean floor.”
The Hogchoker is a Common fish found in the Mushgrove Swamp. Due to it's low rarity, it makes for an easy catch, moving slow and steady across the fishing bar. When hooked, an exclamation icon would pop above the player's head, and a shimmering sound played - as with all Common fish.

What does this mean?
Fisch's in-game currency. A fish's value is its average sale price in C$ at average weight. A rod's value is its listed C$ price, which may be only one part of a crafting requirement. These are game reference figures, not trading consensus. Values are not comparable across games.
