The Santa Whale Shark is a Limited fish obtainable in the Winter Village during the Fischmas 2025 event. Due to its high rarity, it makes for a challenging catch, moving erratically across the bar. When reeling it in, a -80% Progress Speed is applied. When hooked, a will pop above the player's head, and a bell sound is played - as with all Limited fish.

Notes
A Santa Whale Shark with the Merry mutation must be caught in order to complete a quest given by the Santa Shark NPC in Winter Village. Once completed, the player receives 650 bells and 1x Festive Relic Catching a Whale Shark with the Santa mutation can lead to confusion, as it will be labeled as a "Santa Whale Shark" despite it being different than the fish of the same name.
